Prima Fruits offer next-day delivery to most places* in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland so that each basket arrives fresh. Our delivery charge is just £10 per order. We can also offer Saturday delivery at a cost of £19.50 per order.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL GIFTS MUST BE SIGNED FOR UPON DELIVERY. It is the customer's duty to ensure that someone will be home to sign for the gift, which will be delivered by Parcelforce Couriers.
Standard deliveries are made Monday to Friday, orders placed after 1pm on Friday will be delivered on the following Tuesday. Place your order BEFORE 1pm (Monday-Friday) and we will have it delivered by midday on the following business day (we regret we cannot guarantee delivery times).
* For deliveries to postcodes beginning with AB, to Aberdeen and surrounding areas, delivery is two business days, not including the day of dispatch. Other postcodes for whom this applies: DD8-10, FK8 3, FK16-17 & 21, TD15 2, PH10-11, PH13-14, IV1-36, 40, 52-54, KA27, KA28, PA20-49, PA62-77, PH17-26, PH30-41, PH49-50, HS1, KW1-3&5-14, IM1-9&99. For deliveries to the Channel Islands please allow 2-3 business days. The cost of delivery to the Channel Islands is £10.
Prima Fruits is not liable for any failed deliveries. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Prima Fruits regrets that it cannot offer delivery to addresses outside of the UK & Ireland.
Although Prima Fruits always make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated time, delays are occasionally inevitable and we have no control over individual circumtances. Delivery dates and times cannot be guaranteed. The time of delivery shall not be the essence of the contract and any failure by us to make delivery on any particular date shall not entitle the customer to terminate this agreement or refuse the delivery or to claim for any expenses, loss of profits or other consequential losses whatsoever. No contract will exist between us and the customer until goods are dispatched. Acceptance will be deemed complete and effectively communicated at this time. Ownership of the goods will pass to the customer on receipt of payment and dispatch of the goods. If an incorrect address has been given to us with the order, we reserve the right to charge for any extra carriage costs incurred. In the unfortunate case of a product being lost in the post, we will seek compensation from Parcelforce, and if they declare your order lost we will offer a full refund. If for any reason the product is returned to us by Parcelforce because they can't complete a delivery we reserve the right to charge the customer for all perishable goods.
IMPORTANT
Delivery to Hospitals, Maternity Wards, Nursing Homes, Government Buildings, Military Bases, Company Buildings ect, will be made to the relevant reception area. It is the responsibility of the sender to check that the person to receive the basket is still in the hospital and in the same ward before confirming the order. Primafruits will not accept responsibility if this has not been done.
All orders must be signed for.
Responsibility for the gift once signed and accepted is with the relevant authority.
Primafruits must have accepted all orders for the next day delivery before 1pm on the previous weekday. Any order taken after Thursday 1pm, will be delivered on the following Tuesday.
No deliveries are made on Mondays, Sundays, Bank Holidays or the day after Bank Holidays.
Please note it is the sender's responsibility to check that the person will be at the said premises to receive the basket, Primafruits will take no responsibility if this has not been done.
PEAK TIMES
For peak delivery periods such as Christmas, Easter, Mothers Day etc, please order at least four days in advance to ensure a timely delivery.
